Draft League

Draft is here! As it gets closer to the start of the season, we'll ask for volunteers to captain teams.

• There will (currently) be 5 teams. There may be a 6th of people who signed up after the draft started.
• League format will be a round robin of all the teams. And maybe some extra matches thrown in for kicks.
• If there are an odd number of squads one squad will play two matches per week, this sounds more fun than a bye week.
• Trading will be allowed. Players will not need to consent to a trade.

Draft Format

• Draft will be in Snake order. This means after each 'round' of picking, the order will be reversed. So if the order was A, C, D, B, E, F... Then 2nd round order would be F, E, B, D, C, A. And then reverse again for round 3 and so forth until everyone is picked.
• The draft will take place over a period of one week, or quicker if all the captains are online at once. An application has been written to facilitate this.
• Subverting a balanced draft by any method I deem unfair will result in dismissal from the league for the captain and the player. I specifically mean, playing for a squad under a fake alias in order to be drafted at a lower round by a specific captain. But I am not limiting my wrath to this specific incidence.

Post-Draft

After the draft, captains can't pick up players that decide to join the league late.
Spare Players will be assigned to squads as needed, and if no squad is in-need the Comissioner(s) will assign the player(s) to a squad if he feels its necessary. YOU SHOULDA SIGNED UP SOONER.
